I am a laborer of Local 652 and I would like to tell you that prior to joining the Laborers Union I worked for a Non-Union Construction Company; I did not have any benefits. Because of that I decided to sign up with the Laborers Union, so my family and I could have benefits.
I started with California Professional Electrical Engineering. When that project was completed I put my name on the Out of Work list. On September 8, 2008 the Dispatcher asked me if I would like to take a one day job. I told the Dispatcher that I would take the job and I have been with Griffith Company non stop since that day. Griffith Company has been very good to me. With the help of God and my Union, everything in my life is much better
